Trigonometry explores the trigonometric functions such as sine, cosine, tangent, cosecant, secant, and cotangent, which relate the angles of a triangle to the lengths of its sides.

Calculations are based upon the Cartesian Coordinate System using the familiar x and y axes within The Unit Circle.

The unit circle is a fundamental concept in trigonometry. It's a circle with a radius of 1 unit centered at the origin of a coordinate plane. In trigonometry, the unit circle is used to define the trigonometric functions of sine and cosine for all angles, including those beyond the range of 0 to 90 degrees.
