Good Colleagues Matter

These posts are for people who are highly preoccupied with educational issues.

Whether as a teacher or business person or scuba diver… having positive, constructive, cooperative colleagues in pursuit of the same goal is the difference between “sink or swim” (literally in the last example).

Obviously, having good colleagues is a two-way street. People in any endeavor need one another for ideas, inspiration, accountability, and the sense of teamwork. Especially, those new to the endeavor can make it through each year with good colleagues.

It all comes down to a healthy combination of communication and empathy.
